Mortgage Loan Officer (1099) — Remote

The Opportunity

Our Client is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer (Independent Contractor/1099) to originate and structure loans, advise clients on the best financing strategy, and deliver a seamless experience from first call through closing. This is an ideal role for a relationship-driven producer who wants strong support, modern tools, and the ability to compete on complex files.

What Youll Do

  • Originate and structure mortgage loans across a broad program mix
  • Consult with clients on options, scenarios, and strategies
  • Review borrower profiles (income, credit, assets, property) and align the right solution
  • Partner with processors, underwriters, lenders, and real estate referral sources
  • Manage the client relationship through closing with high-touch communication and follow-through

Compensation (Performance-Based)

Qualifications

  • Active NMLS license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Non-QM experience preferred, not required
